Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
Padfold is a Shopify app made by BillionEdges ("we"). This policy explains what Padfold holds when a merchant installs it. Questions: support@padfold.com.
What we hold
- Store details: your myshopify.com domain, install and uninstall dates, your plan, and the access token Shopify issues so the app can work.
- Product images: the original files of images Padfold fixes, kept so you can revert, and a record of which images were scanned and fixed.
- Contact: if you email support, your message and address.
Padfold asks Shopify only for access to products (read_products, write_products). It does not access or store your customers' personal data, orders or payment details.
Why
To scan and fix your product images, let you revert fixes, bill you through Shopify, and answer support requests. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Where
The app runs on Fly.io (Amsterdam). The database is Neon Postgres (Frankfurt). Stored originals and backups are in Cloudflare R2 (EU jurisdiction). Email is sent through Resend (EU region). Billing is handled by Shopify.
How long
While Padfold is installed. When you uninstall, we delete your store's data, including stored originals, 48 hours later (sooner if Shopify asks us to). Database backups are kept for 14 days and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about your store, or for its deletion, at support@padfold.com. We act on Shopify's data-protection requests (customer data requests, customer and shop erasure) as Shopify requires.
Changes
We'll update this page and its date if anything changes.
